A: buy any temporary toner, or conditioner and add about three parts conditioner and 1 1/2 part dye. This tones down the color and makes it pastel. You can do this with ANY color.

Q: How can i prevent multiple hair colors from blending together when i wash my hair?

A: Generally, the colors shouldnt run. they wont be sitting on each other long enough to die your hair. it would need to be mixing and drying for a while before it even began to change color. But if you’re really nervous, wrap foil around the strips of different color or tie up the parts with different color and wash them seperatly in the sink after the other sections are washed. x

A: To help reduce fading and extend the length of lavender hair, using a violet shampoo like framesi’s violights is very beneficial. You can find violet shampoo’s at your local salon.

Q: I have dark hair, how can i get it lavender?

A: With dark hair, you’ll need to bleach it to platinum white for the lavender to take, your hair will be damaged just to warn you, i suggest getting it done at a salon, because they know exactly what their doing too.

A: I would think that cooler tones such as lavender and light blue would help to combat the appearance of redness

Tip: The easiest way to keep your hair the color you want it is pretty simple… switch to dry shampoo instead of running it under water and using normal shampoo, and don’t wash it every day.

It’s really unnecessary to wash your hair every day, and even every other day can be too much for some people. Everyone has different hair that needs to be washed at different rates, but if you wash it too much, your hair freaks out and makes more oil to make up for the natural oils you’re depleting it of.

Honestly, I wash my hair (wet) every five days, and that’s only because there’s only so much hair spray build up I can remove with a brush alone… and it’s not greasy before then, either.
