Just thought i’d take a second to give you all a little tip. I had a horrible hair bleach disaster about 2 months ago that will take a long while to get back into shape. One night while working, a woman came in who was a hair dresser and i asked what i could do to help with the breaking of my hair. (I was waking up with near piles on my pillow every morning) and she told me that her daughter bleaches her hair like no tomorrow and the secret they found to help was organic coconut oil. It is thicker than olive oil, weighs down the hair to close the split ends and prevents breakage, it’s also around $6-8 dollars in your nearest grocery store for a HUGE jar that will last a good while. I’m here to tell you in just three weeks of using it about once a week (sleeping in it over night) my hair is already thicker feeling, softer, and there is MUCH MUCH less breakage, and because my hair was so damaged, after washing it out in the morning, it was not oily at all. It soaked it up so nicely. So all you lavender lovelies that bleach their hair a lot, try this, it performs miracles. (It has also done wonders on my skin, i have eczema and very dry flaky skin, and the oil applied has left it dewy and moisturized)
