starryeyed-stunnnner asked: to the person who asked for natural lavender dye. Manic Panic is natural and comes in Ultra Violet and Iceberg. I used Ultra Violet and it faded alot on my blonde hair. Now its lavender. Also if you bleached your hair to white i think Iceberg might work...
i thought manic panic was natural i couldn’t remember lol, thanks dollface xx

Step 1: Bleach
You will need to bleach your hair until it is light blonde, this may take a few attempts. I’d recommend waiting a while between each bleaching and using a very good deep conditioner to restore the strength and moisture of your hair. -Jerome Russel B Blonde powder bleach. You need to get the cream bleach with it, it’s about £5 in total. or Freeze Ice Lights and mix it with a creme developer-Step 2: Toner
Okay, now you’ll need some toner to get rid of the brassy tones. You could use Matrix So Silver toner, Fudgebox whiter shade of pale, Special Effects toner/mixer, or any other silver shampoo.Step 3: Adding the colour
You should have pretty pale blonde hair, if not, try dying over it with any good light blonde dye. Get the hair dye that you want to make your hair, do not buy a really light dye, you should instead buy a bright bold one (I recommend Crazy Colour dye), because a pastel hair dye will wash out completely very, very fast.
Put the dye into a bowl, but only a few scoops, not the whole pot, and add some conditioner to the dye. It should be 20% dye and 80% conditioner. Less dye = more pastel! You can leave it in as long as you like, at least 30 mins.Step 4: Finish
Finally, after you rinse and condition your hair, dry and style it as required. Light hair will require a lot of up keep and you should deep condition your hair about once a week. There you go, enjoy your new hair! <3
I did some research and I heard if you leave manic panic’s virgin snow in your hair for an hour or two, it will turn into silver or white.
I still had some of the punky color platinum toner left so I gave it a try.. and I’m soooooo happy with the results. EXACTLY what I wanted.. Silver with hints of lavender.
I forgot to mention, prior toning with the punky color, I lightly bleached my hair with clairol’s maxi blonde. Left it on for no longer than 10 mins.
Made my hair turn into a pale yellow…
Then… I toned done the brassiness using WELLA’s ivory lady. Left it on for about 5 minutes. Rinsed. Blowdry. Next day, I apply punky color’s toner.. and left it in for almost 2 hours.. and it was beautiful. magical.
:’) it’s perfect. silver with hints of lavender.
sugarfuckery asked: how long do I leave the purple-dye/conditioner mix on my hair after I've bleached it? :)
it depends really, since it is pastel you may want to leave it on more than usual due to it’s not going to stick fast, i know some people leave it on for an hour, and some sleep in it over night. I would say an hour is safest, and then if it didn’t take all the way, go over it once more. Good luck babe xx ;)
Just thought i’d take a second to give you all a little tip. I had a horrible hair bleach disaster about 2 months ago that will take a long while to get back into shape. One night while working, a woman came in who was a hair dresser and i asked what i could do to help with the breaking of my hair. (I was waking up with near piles on my pillow every morning) and she told me that her daughter bleaches her hair like no tomorrow and the secret they found to help was organic coconut oil. It is thicker than olive oil, weighs down the hair to close the split ends and prevents breakage, it’s also around $6-8 dollars in your nearest grocery store for a HUGE jar that will last a good while. I’m here to tell you in just three weeks of using it about once a week (sleeping in it over night) my hair is already thicker feeling, softer, and there is MUCH MUCH less breakage, and because my hair was so damaged, after washing it out in the morning, it was not oily at all. It soaked it up so nicely. So all you lavender lovelies that bleach their hair a lot, try this, it performs miracles. (It has also done wonders on my skin, i have eczema and very dry flaky skin, and the oil applied has left it dewy and moisturized)

so basically… the idea was to keep my a pale purple and maintain it with silver shampoo so t wouldnt cost me so much money.
I was re- bleaching my roots and I thought of an idea to make it pale purple again and give it a boost of condition.
Mix a tub of directions lilac with a load of Aussi 3 minute miracle (until reaching a good shade) and leaving it on for an hour… and BOOM lovely pastel hair!
noodzy asked: To get my lavender I used Manic Panic's Ultra Violet, the thing is that (even after diluting it with conditioner) it has a lot of blue tones in it so in some light it'll look blue and then possibly fade to a baby blue, which I didn't mind. So once this washes out I'm gonna try to mix it with cotton candy pink and see what I get :D
good luckkk dollface xx ;)
Anonymous asked: As a professional stylist. And having lavender hair myself. I highly recommend Framesi's Violights Shampoo !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
thanksss babeee <3 xx
maybeimjustlazy asked: how many shampoos does this last you? Mine literally came out in 3 washes and it got very splotchy. I was using a redken shades EQ color to dilute the pravana purple, so maybe that is where I went wrong. I'm not quite sure what I am doing wrong.
well there is many factors that change with lavender hair, because no two people do it exactly the same. Everyone uses a different dye, different conditioner, different amounts. There’s a lot of variables that go into it, so i’m no quite sure hun. Maybe you are using a too much conditioner, or too little dye. You should only be washing your hair every two days, three or four days even if you can get away with it, and it never lasts long, it lasts about 2-3 weeks average. Good luck babe x check the tips for some more advise! <3
How to dilute hair dye for pastel colors. (My haircolor)
1) I use pravana vivids in Violet, I add a small amount to a good amount of plain conditioner. (About a thumbnail to a cup ratio)
2) Stir throughly
3) Add more conditioner if you want it lighter, or add more pigment if you want it brighter/darker.
easy peasy , much loves <3
What I’m doing tomorrow =)
